Burton or Burton Snowboards, as the name suggests, is a manufacturer of snowboards. Their headquarters are located in Burlington, Vermont, USA. Their founder, Jake Burton Carpenter – who has just recovered from a nervous disorder that lead to complete paralysis over 4 weeks, is known as the godfather of snowboarding, serving “a pivotal role in growing snowboarding from a backyard hobby to a world-class sport”. Over the years, Burton have broaden their product line, and they are manufacturing all kinds of snowboard equipments, from snowboards, bindings, boots, outerwear, to accessories.

Burton of course also manufacture backpacks. But not only for snowboarding. Burton’s products, which are well designed and meticulously decorated, can meet almost all your needs for a backpack. Besides snowboarder’s backpack, they also have backpack for hikers, travellers, commuters…, with prices ranged from $15 to $260. Burton’s most expensive backpack – Burton F-Stop 28L Backpack, for example, is not for snowboarders, but for photographers. The third expensive – Burton Traverse Travel Pack – is actually a travel bag.
If you are looking for a big-sized, multipurpose backpack with good design, Burton’s is a decent choice.
